is Speech and Hearing Awareness Month
Take the May Month Challenge!
CASLPA audiologist André Lafargue urges CASLPA members
to take the time to get involved and celebrate May Month.
He challenges all CASLPA members to:
a) Pick a cause or activity dear to your heart;
b) Pledge formally that during the month of May you will initiate
or participate in an activity which will celebrate Speech and
Hearing Month and put forward the cause of audiology and speech-language
pathology;
c) Finally, since we are all very keen on outcome measures,
you will report your activities to national office and indicate
that you are fulfilling your May Month pledge.
Furthermore take up the challenge to motivate at least one
of your colleagues to do the same."
We could all take a page from Andrés PR recipe book.
To quote:

stick with it and use every opportunity to get your point across…
It may take a while but it is well worth the effort. If YOU
don't do it…then WHO DO you think will do it???"
