Client Stories - Valuable Tools for Clinicians
Personal stories can be very valuable tools through which to
communicate the messages of our professions. These stories can
be first-hand accounts of your patients but there is also much
to be found in books, magazines, movies and the internet. Here
are two interesting resources available on-line:

- An excellent site listing the titles and descriptions of more
than 2,500 films about disabilities. There are movies on autism,
hearing impairment, stuttering, stroke, cerebral palsy, alzheimer's,
down's syndrome, epilepsy, tourette's syndrome and brain trauma.

- Our Clients and their Families Speak - An on-line bibilography
