CASLPA Signs QWQHC Healthy Healthcare Leadership Charter

One of CASLPA's concerns is to ensure a positive work environments for S-LPs, audiologists and supportive personnel.

The CASLPA board supports The Quality Worklife-Quality Healthcare collaborative (QWQHC), a partnership of 13 national health organizations formed to develop and promote a national framework and action strategy on quality of worklife to improve health system delivery and patient/client outcomes.

CASLPA encourages healthier workplaces through involvement in the QWQHC partnership, specifically by supporting and promoting their healthy healthcare leadership charter.

The Charter is intended to support the continuous improvement of the health of all Canadian healthcare workplaces and providers. It is founded on the principle that a fundamental way to better healthcare is through healthier healthcare workplaces; and it is unacceptable to work in, receive care in, govern, manage and fund unhealthy healthcare workplaces.

Employers across the country are signing on to the QWQHC Healthy Healthcare Leadership Charter. Look Who's already signed on.

CASLPA members can take this charter to their employers and encourage its adoption.
