Ethics Corner
CASLPA's "Ethics Corner" provides an opportunity
to raise/address professional ethical concerns for feedback
in a non-judgemental forum.
For our first topic, we wanted to share some articles from
the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists
(ACSLPA ) newsletter: entitled " Clinical Conundrums".
There are two ethical questions addressed in these articles
from ACSLPA,
Teacher/SLP
Collaboration: Teachers Writing Language Goals
June 2006 - see Page 9
Ethical Practice: Internet-purchased Hearing Aids
September 2006 - see Page 9
It is our hope that this will inspire some ethical questions
from our members who want feedback on questions or issues in
daily practise.
If you have an ethical question or moral issue you would like
to see addressed, please contact the Ethics committe via e-mail
at carla@caslpa.ca. Then
visit our Ethics Chat Board where we'll post a response and
encourage further discussion from other CASLPA members.
