Membership Application Requirements
Full, Reduced hours and International Memberships
One of the following 4 options
Graduates of an accredited Canadian
program in speech-language pathology or audiology.
Official transcripts indicating proof of graduation/master's
degree conferred and signed proof of having completed 300 clinical
practicum hours must be forwarded to CASLPA.
Members of a provincial/territorial
association or licensing body.
A letter from your provincial association or licensing body
stating you are a member in good standing must be forwarded
to CASLPA.
ASHA certified member.
Speech-Language Pathologists
Contact ASHA and have a letter confirming your status sent to
CASLPA. Have graduate transcripts and clinical hours forwarded
from your university to CASLPA. Complete the CASLPA new member
application form and the Mutual Recognition Agreement application

Audiologists
Contact ASHA and have a letter confirming your status sent to
CASLPA. Have graduate transcripts and clinical hours forwarded
from your university to CASLPA. Complete the CASLPA new member
application form and the CASLPA clinical certification application
form for ASHA certified Audiologists found at the following
link: www.caslpa.ca/PDF/ASHA_aud_application_for_assessment.pdf
Graduates from a program outside of
Canada.
Complete the IQAS application form to have your credentials
assessed. Application form and information found at the following
link: www.caslpa.ca/english/certification/foreign_letter.asp
