CASLPA'S 40th Anniversary
History
Trivia Quiz - Questions and Answers
2004 was the 40th anniversary of the founding
of CASLPA, originally known as the Canadian Speech and Hearing
Association (CSHA), founded in 1964.
This was a time to take pride in our achievements and celebrate
both where we'd been and where we're going.
The 2004 issues of Communique featured a series of retrospective
articles designed to do just that.

One major aspect of our anniversary celebrations was the recognition
of our charter members.
Another initiative we are undertook in celebration of our 40th
anniversary was recognition of CASLPA's many volunteers who
have contributed much to the growth and development of the organization.
These individuals not only represent our history but also our
future.
We compiled a list of all volunteers who have served CASLPA
over the years, on the Board of Directors, as a member of the
Awards, Publications Advisory, Exam or other Committee, as a
JSLPA Reviewer or a volunteer in any other capacity and these
individuals were recognized with a certificate and pin. A listing
of these individuals appeared in the October 2004 issue of Communiqué.
THANKS FOR BEING PART OF 40 YEARS OF ILLUSTRIOUS
HISTORY!
