Baali
Roula Baali is the CASLPA board member representing
Quebec. Ms. Baali upholds a patient first perspective promoting
individualized care and support in her everyday practice and
believes in the potential of joint effort to modernise CASLPA's
scope of practice.
Ms. Baali completed her Master of Audiology
at the University of Montreal in 2009 and is currently completing
her Doctor of Audiology at the University of Florida.
Ms. Baali provides direct clinical audiology
services at Sacré-Coeur Hospital and the University
of Montreal's affiliated hospitals. She is also the founder
of Audio Santé Baali Inc., private audiology practice
centers located in the Montreal surrounding areas, thought
to palliate the demands in the health system and provide corresponding
care.
Ms. Baali first became involved with CASLPA
as she was nominated University of Montreal's representative
for two consecutive years in 2008-2009 and was drawn towards
a position on the board of directors to further partake ongoing
and future projects in 2010. Ms. Baali accepted to represent
Quebec members and Quebec-related issues in national board
discussions and decisions as well as to serve as a liaison
between Quebec members and other related professional organizations
to support professionals cope with this vast expanding field.
During her tenure, she hopes to nurture an environment which
blends clinical strengths and latest research advancements
to foster a constructive working environment and assist professionals
acquire the versatility needed to meet the challenges of the
dynamic healthcare marketplace, ultimately benefiting each
patient.
